CCBC celebrates the Class of 2012
Ceremony held June 3 at CCBC Essex

With picture-perfect weather and more than 7,000 proud guests in attendance, nearly 900 students participated in the commencement ceremony for CCBC's Class of 2012.

Graduating student Jillian Goles (Rosedale, Md.) was this year’s commencement speaker and the 2012 President’s Distinguished Graduate Award recipient.

Goles is an Honor student who demonstrated outstanding academic performance, leadership and service to others. These attributes contributed to her being selected as the 2012 President’s Distinguished Graduate.

CCBC awarded more than 2,900 certificates and degrees this year* – a 25 percent increase over 2011. As many as 95 percent of students remain in the state and contribute to economic growth.
