CCBC HAS "FAST TRACK" COURSES BEGINNING IN MARCH
While traditional spring classes at The Community College of
Baltimore County (CCBC) began at the end of January, the college has numerous
"Fast Track" course offerings that do not begin until March or April.
Designed to fit every schedule, these classes are offered days, evenings, weekends
and via television. There is still time to register.
The late-start classes include courses in business, computers,
education, health, history, horticulture, math and science, communication, psychology,
and sports and leisure. Some specific examples are a telecourse on micro-economic
principles, Web page design, CPR training, horticulture business management,
landscape design, and ethics in chemical dependency. There is even a geology
course with hikes to mountains in Maryland and Virginia. In the area of personal
growth and fitness there are numerous choices such as bicycling, golf, lifeguard
training, mountaineering, scuba diving, and tennis. Finally, there is a study
trip to Paris, France (April 14-24) with pre-trip lectures March 22 and April
