CCBC Travel Studies offers a day trip to Delaware for a scrumptious luncheon at Celebrity Kitchens, prepared tableside by a celebrity chef, and a visit to Winterthur Museum and Gardens, the former country estate of Henry Francis DuPont (1880-1969). Travel – Frederick Treasures – from City to Countryside
This day trip includes a tour of historic downtown Frederick, a visit to the National Museum of Civil War Medicine, a scenic ride through the Catoctin Mountains on the way to the Cozy Inn for lunch and the day ends with a vineyard tour and wine tasting at the Black Ankle Vineyard. Travel – Oxford, Easton and the Amish Market
This day trip to Maryland’s Tidewater area includes a tour of Oxford and its museum, a cruise on the Tred Avon River aboard the Express Royale. After docking at Easton Point, the group visits the Amish Market for lunch on your own. The afternoon offers a driving tour of Easton including the Historical Society of Talbot County, tours of three historic homes, a visit to an award-winning Federal period garden and ends with free time to explore downtown Easton on your own.
