Stargazing Opportunities at CCBC Dundalk
7-9 p.m., Nov. 6 and 20 and Dec. 11, CCBC Dundalk Observatory

Baltimore County, Md. – The Astronomy program in the School of Mathematics and Science at the Community College of Baltimore County lets you reach for the stars with its observing sessions. Using its powerful Celestron 14-inch CGE 1400 XLT telescope located in the observatory on the Dundalk campus, 7200 Sollers Point Road, you, your family and friends can enjoy a wonderful view of our galaxy. These events are free and open to the public.

Three Friday observing sessions are still scheduled to be held:

  • Nov. 6, 7-9 p.m.
  • Nov. 20, 7-9 p.m.
  • Dec. 11, 7-9 p.m.

If you are uncertain as to whether the sky is clear enough for the session to be held, call 410-282-3092 about 45 minutes before the session to find out if it has been cancelled.

Directions to the Observatory:
Turn into CCBC Dundalk from Sollers Point Road and take the first right into the parking lot and park in any non-handicap parking space and walk to the Observatory.
