Experience Chautauqua 2008 – “Civil Rights: Taking a Stand” – July 10-13 at CCBC Catonsville
Features portrayals of Martin Luther King (July 10), George Wallace (July 11), Rosa Parks (July 12) and Malcolm X (July 13)

Baltimore County, Md. -- Imagine that you could spend an evening with the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King or the mother of the civil rights movement, Rosa Parks, and learn first-hand their views on the American Civil Rights movement. Or, for radically different views, listen to George C. Wallace, former governor of Alabama, discuss the roots of his beliefs about racial integration or Malcolm X speak on black separatism and non engagement.

You don’t have to imagine; you can hear these diverse voices of the fight for civil rights in America at Chautauqua 2008 at CCBC Catonsville. The four evenings of Chautauqua 2008 are free and open to the public.

Join us at 7 p.m. July 10-13 under the Chautauqua tent (or in case of inclement weather in the Q Building Theatre) at the Community College of Baltimore County and hear these voices of modern American history. You can even ask them questions!
