CCBC Catonsville AAWCC seeks exhibitors for 2007 CCBC Women’s Expo
Expo offers numerous networking opportunities
Baltimore County, Md. -- The Community College of Baltimore
County, Catonsville chapter of the American Association for Women in
Community Colleges (AAWCC) is gearing up for its sixth annual CCBC
Women’s Expo and is seeking applications from area businesses and
organizations. Scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, March 10 - 11, 2007,
this award-winning event promises to include more than 150 exhibitors
and will offer numerous networking opportunities. Proceeds from the
event will benefit student scholarships and helping hand awards.
While many facets of the event celebrate the accomplishments of women,
participation is open to everyone. According to Charolene Oliver, CCBC
Catonsville’s AAWCC president, “The program undoubtedly addresses
AAWCC’s philosophy of equity and excellence, matched with a sensitive
concern for people. Additionally, it creates a feeling of connectedness
and generates camaraderie among CCBC employees.”
AAWCC is a nonprofit national organization dedicated to women in
community colleges and local businesses, working towards making a
