Welcome to CCBC's site for information and resources
regarding the H1N1 (Swine) flu
Flu refers to illnesses caused by a variety of influenza viruses. Two strains of flu, seasonal flu and the H1N1 (Swine) flu, are currently circulating in the United States.
While symptoms of the seasonal and H1N1 (Swine) flu may differ slightly, the precautions and measures we can take to prevent the spread of flu viruses are the same.
Please utilize the resources here and on related sites to help stay healthy and prevent the spread of both seasonal and H1N1 flu viruses at home, in your community and here at CCBC.

See the link areas at the bottom of this page for more on flu prevention and symptoms,
as well as detailed information for CCBC students, faculty and staff
who have contracted the H1N1 flu.

What everyone can do
-
Avoid contact with people who are sick.
-
If you are ill, stay home from work, school, shopping, etc.

Cover your mouth and nose when you cough or sneeze.

Wash your hands often.
