Register for and Maintain 12 or More Credits/Billable Hours Each and Fall and Spring Semester.

Register Early. Classes with low student enrollment may be canceled long before the last day to enroll.
Only 1 online or distance education class or 3 credits each semester can count towards the 12-credit requirement.
Do not rely on Late Start Classes. They may be canceled.
Check the list of canceled classes . If a class you have registered for has been canceled, meet with an academic counselor or adviser immediately to sign up for another class.
If you cannot register for or maintain 12 or more credits/billable hours due to medical illness or other special circumstances, contact International Student Services immediately.

Seek Help. If you are having difficulties in any of your courses, ask your instructor and/or the staff in the Student Success Center for help immediately. You will not be able to audit or withdraw from a course in which you are doing poorly if this would put you below 12 credits/billable hours.

If you become ill or are seriously injured and cannot attend class, contact the International Student Services and your instructor immediately to explain your absences and make necessary arrangements.
