Overview of Trip:
Join us for a fantastic trip through Alpine vistas, beautiful landscapes, lovely towns and lakes. We'll sightsee in Vancouver, British Columbia, where you will visit Stanley Park, Canada's famous rain forest, Chinatown, the waterfront and Gastown, a turn of the century center of pubs, art galleries and boutiques. That evening you will board the train VIA Rail's The Canadian to begin your trip to the Canadian Rockies. Relax in the Dome car as you experience 360-degree views. The trip will take you past wondrous mountain peaks and waterfalls to Jasper, the gateway to the famous icefields. You will continue to Lake Louise where you will stay in the world famous Chateau Lake Louise. Your trip will continue through incredible valleys and past wondrous peaks to Banff, where we will stay at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel, known as the "Castle in the Mountains". We will continue through Banff, which features the powerful Bow Falls and Hoodoos and is known as the "Land of the Sleeping Giants."
