Program Benefits


In addition to the challenge of honors courses, being a member of the Honors Program has several other benefits:

  • Scholarships are offered to students enrolled in the Honors Program: students who complete an honors course with a grade of A or B and an overall GPA of 3.5 will be reimbursed for that course after the final grade has been submitted;

  • All honors courses will be identified as such on the student's college transcript;

  • Honors classes are small, with enrollment limited to 17 students;

  • Graduates of the Honors Program are guaranteed admission to the following schools: College of Notre Dame of Maryland, Coppin State University, Goucher College, Johns Hopkins School of Continuing Studies, McDaniel College, Morgan State University, Towson University, University of Baltimore, University of Maryland-Baltimore County, and University of Maryland-College Park.
