Pre-College Institute

The Pre-College Institute is a part of the First-Year Experience at CCBC. The developmental education component to the Pre-College Institute is a three-week, intensive program that gives students the opportunity to complete their developmental work before the beginning of the fall semester. The institute offers courses in Reading, English, and Math, and usually runs the second, third, and fourth weeks of August, Monday through Friday.

 Students in the Pre-College Institute are offered:

• An intensive approach to learning
• A chance to become acquainted with fellow students, faculty, and staff
• Special orientation sessions and campus tours
• An opportunity to complete developmental coursework before the fall semester.
