Play
Research in education confirms that play is essential for children to
learn. Through play, the child explores his world, discovers how to get
along with others, tries out new ideas, and feels confident enough to
try new and different activities. Our curriculum and assessment of
children's growth and learning is based on the Maryland Model for School
Readiness. The following learning domains provide guidelines for our
