CCBC offers a high quality early childhood program that provides a safe, healthy, nurturing environment for children. Dedicated to quality care, The Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC) Children's Learning Center offers developmentally appropriate programs for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children at our three campuses.
The CCBC Children's Learning Centers are primarily a service for students, faculty and staff of the three campuses. Children of community residents are welcome, space permitting. Children are accepted regardless of race, religion, ethnicity , or sex. Age groupings follow licensing requirements. The centers strive for an atmosphere of equal opportunity, trust, respect, and appreciation of the diversity of our staff and the families served.
Children are signed in and out on an attendance roster. A child will be released only to individuals listed on the Emergency Card or with advance written authorization. Photo ID must be provided.
PARENTS AND FAMILIES
We respect and support families in their task of nurturing and raising children. We recognize that children are best understood in the context of their family, culture, and society. We strive to maintain open lines of communication with families. Parents are welcome in the center at any time.
Morning and afternoon snacks are provided. All children in attendance participate with the exception of infants and children with medically documented food allergies. Menus are posted in each classroom.
