Absences

All children are expected to arrive at the Center by 9 AM to be full participants in the planned learning program. Parents are asked to notify the center whenever a child will be absent. If the absence is due to illness, a written note is required from a parent or doctor stating the nature of the illness and the child's ability to return to his regular activities.

If a child is absent for 5 consecutive days without notification, the child's place in the program will be offered to another child.

If you no longer need child care, two weeks notice is required.

Those who qualify for a DSS Purchase of Care Voucher are allowed 5 absences per month for their children. Additional absences must be paid by the parents/guardians.
