CONTINUING EDUCATION CERTIFICATE

This Maryland Board of Nursing approved course of studies prepares students to function as a nursing assistant in a variety of health care settings. Upon completion of theory and clinical, you are eligible to take the state GNA certification examination. An achievement award is given upon successful completion of both theory and clinical. Clinical placement provides experience in area nursing home under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Prerequisites: CPR (AHE 805), Medical Terminology (AHE 534).
