COMPUTER-AIDED DESIGN (CAD)
CCBC Catonsville is a leader in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) education in Maryland. The CAD Center is a fully equipped training environment providing hands-on training. The staff is experienced in the use of Autodesk products, including AutoCAD, 3D and MicroStation. Our clients include Fortune 500 companies as well as local companies and government agencies. CCBC Catonsville offers regularly scheduled public courses and customized contract courses.
Basic AutoCAD
Total Cost: $1095 (Tuition: $585 Fees: $510)
For designers/operators who know how to draw but do not have AutoCAD experience. This introduction will give you the opportunity to complete work-related drawings. Cover orientation to disk-operating systems, file handling, display commands, drawing and editing commands, dimensioning and more.

Microstation Graphics

Designers and drafters will become familiar with the operating procedures used to generate and maintain graphic images using Bentley’s MicroStation software. You will learn to create drawings of moderate complexity and know how to dimension and plot them properly

SketchUp Fundamentals

The CAD designer will learn to create, modify, render and annotate architectural drawings in this combination lecture/demonstration/hands-on activity class. Edges and surfaces will be created, manipulated and modified to generate renderings of architectural concepts.
