Virtual Assistant Online Business 6/12-8/28
This course is designed for students who want to run their own virtual assistant business. A virtual assistant works from his/her own home offering administrative support services to other companies over the Internet. A virtual assistant can make from $25-$50 per hour performing tasks such as word processing, database management, desktop publishing, and email services. Moreover, because virtual assistants work from their homes, for customers they often never meet, they do not need to be located in the same city or even the same state. Students in this course will learn how to establish and successfully grow a virtual assistant business including learning how to locate customers, set fees, and develop client contracts. Prerequisite: Internet expertise assumed.

Real Estate Investing 6/12-8/28
This course is for students who want to learn how to use real estate investing to build personal wealth. In this information-packed course, students will learn techniques for locating bargain properties and motivated sellers, acquiring property with creative financing, locating sources of cash, fixing up properties, handling tenants, and selling properties. Prerequisite: Internet expertise assumed.

Building a Mail Order Business 6/5-8/21
This course is for students who want to learn how to run a mail order (direct marketing) business from home. Mail order firms offer everything from the sale of how-to-books, to catalogues containing specialty food products, to selling clothing over the Internet. It is a business that can easily be started on a shoestring from your kitchen table, but can also grow into a full-time occupation. In this course, students will learn how to choose profitable products, locate suppliers, create advertising that attracts buyers, and fulfill orders quickly and easily.

How to Start and Import/Export Business 6/4-8/20
In today's economy, an import/export business could be your ideal choice for a small business. A small company can profitably sell abroad what it markets, and goods imported from overseas can be offered for sale in the U.S. for a substantial markup. Unlike manufacturing or a storefront, an import/export business offers an inexpensive entry into owning your own business. There may even be the advantage of international travel. Students will determine what products to offer, learn where to locate suppliers and outlets for their products, and will be introduced to government regulations concerning import/export.
