Cuff Bracelet and Earrings
Learn the art of using wire to create a frame to make a cuff bracelet filled with a medley of beads. We will also complete earrings to match. Materials cost $12 due at first class.

Intermediate Advanced Precious Metal Clay with Cabochon
Learn to sharpen your technique. Make a box bead, 3-dimensional projects using construction of multiple sided beads, or create an elaborate focal bead. You'll also make texture plates and review how to make molds. Materials cost of $95 due at first session.

Create simple and interesting metal jewelry, bezels, and findings by learning to solder. Learn how to use a torch, a variety of soldering techniques and how to work with different metals while creating your own projects. Materials cost up to $40 due first class.

Build on techniques learned in Jewelry Soldering. Learn to make a ring or pendant with a stone in a bezel setting. All tools and equipment will be provided, although students are encouraged to bring their own jewelry pliers. Prerequisite: Prior soldering experience and/or permission of the instructor. Advanced Glass Fusing Dichroic/Iridized Glass
Experiment with dichroic and iridized glass and create interesting projects. Discuss and analyze fusing challenges. Bring eye protection, glasscutter, breaking pliers, and a straight edge. Prerequisite: Basic Fusing Techniques and Advanced Technologies I. Materials fee up to $40 due first class.

Laser Cut Jewelry: Design and Production at the Fab Lab
Learn how to get started using our Laser cutting tools at the CCBC Catonsville FAB Lab. Bring a drawing, digital design or 3D mock-up of your jewelry design and have a final laser cut product by the end of the class! The technicians will give you a basic overview of design programs and FAB Lab printers. Materials fee varies depending on the size and material of designs (wood, leather, plastic).

Nature Inspired Jewelry Design
Learn how to make unique, beaded multi-strand jewelry that incorporates the concepts of space and balance to give your wearable art a light and airy feel through knotting nylon. Students will design and create jewelry inspired by naturally occurring objects. Choosing from an optional selection of recycled, organic and natural beads (i.e. horn, glass, wood, vinyl) and beads from their own personal collection, students will learn about various necklace design styles and the basics of knotting to create a 3 to 5 strand necklace. Additional supply lists provided at first session. Materials cost up to $15 due at first session.
