Microsoft Excel II
Expand on basic Excel skills and learn how to create meaningful spreadsheets built on sound mathematical constructs to enable you to organize data, calculate data, audit worksheets, and transform data into information for presentation and decision-making. Students learn advanced analysis and reference functions and advanced features such as macros, data linking, and pivot tables. This course along with skills presented in Excel I prepare students to take the Excel Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Certification Exam. Prerequisite: Excel I or equivalent knowledge. Students must have Internet access and have Windows version of Microsoft Office 2013 installed on their computers. Textbook may be purchased at CCBC Catonsville bookstore.
