Flight Training at CCBC
CCBC offers an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree and a Certificate program in Flight Training. Both of these programs train students to be FAA licensed Commercial Pilots. Students may choose to train in airplanes or helicopters. CCBC flight training students train in one of the busiest air traffic corridors in the world and gain the skills, knowledge and experience required to operate in congested airspace.
Our challenging training environment makes CCBC graduates particularly attractive to airline and corporate pilot employers. Hiring prospects for pilots in the US has been steady despite the economic slowdown. The cyclic pilot shortage is forecast to occur in the next 2-3 years so if you are interested in flying professionally, this is the time to start your training!
Please see our Aviation Program Information Packet for details on our Flight Training degree and certificate programs, course descriptions, admissions, financial aid, VA Benefits and transfer options.
