Rayven Ray at the NJCAA National Championship competing in the high jump. She finished 11th with a jump of 5'3.25 inches.
5th place was the same height but due to an earlier miss at 5'1" she missed out on being an All-American. The winner's jump was 5'5".

Highlights of Indoor Track Meets

Kutztown Meet:
RayvenRay finished 2nd in the high jump along with a 3rd in the long jump. She alsi finished 3rd in the 200 yard sprint.
Sam Steinman set a school record in the pole vault with a vault of 8'6.25". She also just missed qualifying in the shot put with a throw of 32'8".

Frank Colden Invitational:
Rayven qualified for the National Championships with a second place finish in the high jump at 5'2". She also won the long jump and is closing in on qualifying for that event also. Samantha Steinman set a school record in the pole vault with a vault of 9 ft. and also set a school record for the shot put. The team finished 12th out of 17 schools. CCBC Essex was the only 2 year school that participated.

Hagerstown Invitational:
Rayven Ray had a hat trick! She won the high jump, 55 Meter dash and the 200 Meter dash. The team finished 1-2-3 in the 55 Meter dash with Erica Udomukwu finishing 2nd and Rakiya Ratliff finishing 3rd. In the 200 Meter dash, Rayven Ray finished 1st and Erica Udomukwu finished 3rd. In the 400 Meter dash Rakiya Ratliff finished 3rd and Megan Timchula finished 4th. In the 1000 Meter race Shannon Jessop finished 7th in a very tough field. The team finished 2nd in the 4by400 Relay. Sam Steinman finished 4th in the Shot Put and 3rd in the Pole Vault. Shirley Reyes finished 7th for the first time in competition in the Pole Vault. CCBC Essex finished 2nd edging out four year school McDaniel.

NJCAA Championship:
Rayven Ray qualified for the NJCAA Championships in two events: High Jump & Long Jump.
Rayven Ray finished 13th in a field of 20 for the long jump in the NJCAA Championships in Lubock, Texas.
Rayven Ray finishe 11th in the high jump with a jump of 5'3.25 inches. 5th place was also the same height but due to an early miss at 5'1 she missed out on becoming an All-American. The winner only jumped 2 inches higher.
