The DSST program offers a series of tests in career and general education areas. Attainment of the scores listed below will earn the credits indicated. Testing is available upon request from the CCBC Testing Centers (Catonsville, Dundalk and Essex). The cost is $80 per examination with a $25 administrative charge (as of February 1, 2013 the fee will increase to $35 per test). CCBC does not charge any additional fees for transcription of these credits. It is necessary to have the results sent to the Registrar at the CCBC Catonsville, Dundalk or Essex campus in order to be awarded the credits. Please contcat the desired Testing Center to make arrangements.

Students with ties to the military are able to take these examinations through the educational offices at local military bases or armories.
The applicability of these credits to degree or certificate requirements is made by the appropriate department/program administrators. Determinations of equivalent courses or requirements are shown below. All credit awards are subject to existing CCBC policies. The transferability and application of those credits to other two year and four year college requirements varies greatly. Students are encouraged to make themselves aware of specific APL policies at other colleges.
