The Veterinary Technology program allows students to become a valuable part of the veterinary health care team. The student will learn to perform a variety of duties associated with the animal care field, such as clinical laboratory procedures, assisting in the operating room, establishing patient imaging protocols, administering medications, educating the owner to better understand his/her pet's problem and the steps to a successful conclusion and supervising total patient care.
Graduates may expect to find employment in a variety of health care settings such as veterinary clinics and hospitals, emergency and trauma care facilities, health care referral practices, corporate medicine, and private industries.
The Veterinary Technology program is accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association’s Committee on Veterinary Technician Education and Activities.
I hope to see you in the Veterinary Technology program!
