CCBC’s School of Continuing Education is the perfect place to upgrade your job skills, learn a new trade or explore your personal interests.

Whether you’ve come to CCBC for life enrichment or for training to get where you want to be professionally, we have something for you! We have classes to engage you at every stage of life and are constantly developing exciting new courses to inspire you. Come see what you can be!

Literacy, basic math, GED and ESOL

The first word in our name is community and we take the commitment to serve the basic education needs in the Baltimore County area seriously. If you need to improve your reading, writing and math abilities, we can help you update your skills. Or if you need to complete your high school diploma, we have face-to-face and online options through our GED program.

We also offer English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) classes for all levels of learners.

Courses for fun and personal enrichment

Pick your passion. Learn art, cooking, dancing, music and more. We even have classes to help you turn your passion for fitness and wellness into a career. Maybe it's time to learn a new language or teach others English. We are here to help you grow.

Learning is a lifelong adventure

Embrace the joy of lifelong learning with CCBC's Senior Adventures in Learning (SAIL) program. SAIL offers opportunities to explore new interests, sharpen existing skills, or simply connect with like-minded individuals. Seniors over 60 pay no tuition (only fees) regardless of the class you take.

SAIL is your passport to a world of intellectual, social, and cultural enrichment.

Committed to meeting the needs of all learners and job seekers

Our Center for Alternative and Supported Education (CASE) program is the only one in Maryland dedicated to helping adults with learning differences and disabilities get workforce training.

Amazon Career Choice and other training partnerships and employment connections offer apprenticeships, scholarships and other academic and employment support for specialized groups.

Training, certification and licensure

Are you ready to start a new career or upgrade your skills? We can get you job-ready in as little as 6-18 months. Explore classes in business, health, hospitality, skilled trades and transportation. If you are ready to start your own business, we have a class for that too!

Employers: We have needs assessment and customized training options for your employees.

Discover a world of possibilities with CCBC's diverse youth programs

Designed for children and teens aged 7-17, our curriculum spans a wide array of subjects. Whether it's diving into a new subject during the school year or embarking on a summer of exploration, our youth classes are a blend of education and fun in an environment designed for learning.
