
About the Program
For Over 34 years the CCBC Catonsville has prepared students for a reqarding career in construction. The Construction Management program will help you succeed in jobs with various titles such as construction superintendent, general superintendent, project engineer, project manager, general construction manager, or executive construction manager. You may choose to specialize in areas like estimating, specification writer, or lead scheduler. Those who have completed a craft apprenticeship program will received credit towards the new Construction Craft Professional degree or certificate program. All of the instructors for the program are professionals in the field and bring a rich background to the classes. The Construction Management and Craft Professional programs have statewide designation allowing out-of-county students to pay in-county tuitution.

New Program Approved
The Construction Craft Professional degree program recently received approval from the Maryland Higher Education Commission. This program provides a method for those who have completed a craft apprenticeship program to gain credits toward a degree or certificate to move into first line supervision.
Grainger "Tools for Tomorrow" Scholarship
For the Second year CCBC Catonsville has partnered with the W.W. Grainger, Inc. Tools for Tomorrow scholarship program. The 2008 recipient is Mr. Blair Beal. The scholarship is open to full time, second year, Construction Management majors. Look for the 2009 application in the spring semester.
