Two Dundalk residents were holiday winners with
CCBC Foundation Dundalk Lottery Calendars
This year it could be you. There’s still time to cash in!
BALTIMORE COUNTY, Md. (March 2, 2012) – Even though it is March, you still can buy a Community College of Baltimore County Foundation Dundalk Lottery Calendar. Consider giving them as St. Paddy’s Day gifts!!
Two Dundalk residents were big winners last year – one took the $1500 prize when his winning number came up on Christmas Day. James Konarski started the year on a winning note, too, with the New Year Day 2012 match for $200. Al Lloyd, CCBC Foundation Dundalk Board Member and the driving force behind the lottery calendar project, personally presented the check to the Christmas Day winner.
According to Cathy Birkelien, director of Advancement Services and Donor Relations for the CCBC Foundation, “Typically, our winners get $25 for their match or $40 for week-end winners but this is the first time that we have had major winners for the two holiday drawings.” The CCBC Lottery calendars have a 3-digit number at the bottom that wins if it matches the evening Pick-3 number for the Maryland Lottery. Calendars cost $25 each and the money earned from the sale of the calendars and the sponsorships, after all of the winners have been paid, supports scholarships and special programs at CCBC Dundalk.
