Project Second Start at CCBC hosts divorce and separation workshop

Baltimore, Md. – Project Second Start at the Community College of Baltimore County, Catonsville is sponsoring a “Divorce and Separation Workshop” from 6:30 – 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 18. The workshop takes place in the lower level of the Barn on the Catonsville campus, 800 South Rolling Rd, Baltimore, Md. The workshop is free and open to the public.

Patricia Ferraris O’Neill, JD, chair of CCBC’s Legal Studies department is leading the workshop. The workshop explores divorce laws in Maryland and covers such topics as marital property, settlement agreements, custody issues and more. This will be an opportunity to learn about the law, but not to get legal advice. O’Neill will be providing information about resources for attendees who need legal representation.

Project Second Start offers assistance to people in major life transitions – those recently widowed, separated or divorced, single parents, teenagers facing parenthood or homemakers needing to get back into the work force.
