Baltimore County, Md. – If your business is looking for skilled and highly motivated summer interns or planning to hire technically advanced new employees from the ranks of this year’s college graduates, the upcoming internship and job fair being hosted by The Community College of Baltimore County’s School of Applied and Information Technology (SAIT) can help with your search. The event will be held on Tuesday, April 25 at the Catonsville Campus Q Lounge from noon until 4 p.m., with additional construction, surveying and computer aided design employers on-site from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m.

Prospective employers can expect to meet with candidates who have been required to meet a standard of excellence in the classroom and in preparation to enter the workforce. Their areas of study include internet and multimedia technology; computer graphics and visual communication; office administration/medical coding; programming, software development and operating systems; computer-aided drafting and design; networking PC & LAN support; construction technology; surveying technology; occupational health and safety technology; and more. According to Dyane Hill Boone, SAIT internship director, candidates will have met requirements that include a targeted grade point average, faculty recommendation, resume, interview preparation and coursework completion requirements.

Business owners are encouraged to participate in this seamless recruitment process by contacting Dyane Hill Boone at 443-840-4458 or dboone@ccbcmd.edu to discuss their employment and internship needs.
