CCBC Plans Internship and Job Fair SAIT Seeks Opportunities for
Interns and New Hires
Baltimore County, Md. – If your business is looking for
skilled and highly motivated summer interns or planning to hire
technically advanced new employees from the ranks of this year’s college
graduates, the upcoming internship and job fair being hosted by The
Community College of Baltimore County’s School of Applied and
Information Technology (SAIT) can help with your search. The event will
be held on Tuesday, April 25 at the Catonsville Campus Q Lounge from
noon until 4 p.m., with additional construction, surveying and computer
aided design employers on-site from 5 p.m. - 7 p.m.
Prospective employers can expect to meet with candidates who have been
required to meet a standard of excellence in the classroom and in
preparation to enter the workforce. Their areas of study include
internet and multimedia technology; computer graphics and visual
communication; office administration/medical coding; programming,
software development and operating systems; computer-aided drafting and
design; networking PC & LAN support; construction technology; surveying
technology; occupational health and safety technology; and more.
According to Dyane Hill Boone, SAIT internship director, candidates will
have met requirements that include a targeted grade point average,
faculty recommendation, resume, interview preparation and coursework
completion requirements.
