CCBC invites alumni to Leap! Laugh! Learn! at third annual
alumni picnic Alumni from all campuses and all eras welcome
Baltimore County, Md. – The Community College of Baltimore
County (CCBC) Alumni Association invites all alums to a free family day
of food and fun at its Third Annual Leap! Laugh! Learn! alumni
picnic. Activities take place from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m., Saturday May 13
at CCBC Essex, B Building.
Enjoy the sounds of DJ Myron Campbell throughout the day with food being
served from 11:45 a.m. until 1:30 pm. Lots of fun activities are
scheduled including caricature drawings, balloon sculptures by “Amazing
Rob,” blind beach volleyball and so much more.
Kids can enjoy petting the live animals when the Baltimore Zoo’s
“Zoomobile” arrives at 11:30 a.m. or exploring the inside of the
Baltimore County police helicopter when it lands on campus. Open swim,
performances by guitarist John Adams and a 2 p.m. performance of the
Department of Natural Resources’ The Good, the Bad and the Ugly
is among the short list of activities and events planned for the day. Door
prizes will also be given out during the picnic with tickets to Six
Flags and the Maryland Zoo among the prizes, as well as memorabilia from
CCBC.
CCBC alums include anyone who has attended any of CCBC’s campuses
(including the former Catonsville, Dundalk and Essex Community College)
and completed 30 or more credits and/or received a certificate or
associate’s degree. All alums and their families are welcome. Check out
