PLAN for Success
If you are placed on academic probation because of your grade point average, counseling can help you develop a thoughtful PLAN for Success. Here are the materials to get started:
You may make a counseling appointment by calling 443-840-4382, or visiting the Counseling and Advisement Center reception desk in K Building. In a crisis or emergency situation, you will be seen immediately on a walk-in basis.
There is no charge for services.
A counselor may refer you to community resources for help if you have special needs or require long-term assistance.
No counseling information is ever included in your academic record. Counselors sometimes consult with one another in order to provide more effective assistance. Discussion of student information outside Clinical Counseling Services requires your written consent.
Nothing will be released to others without your written consent except in these circumstances as prescribed by law:
You threaten to harm yourself or others.
We believe you or others are abusing or neglecting children.
There is a civil or criminal case in the court where information is subpoenaed.
Clinical Counseling Services staff is dedicated to helping students. Experienced, licensed professionals provide quality counseling to enable you to be successful in accomplishing your life goals - personal, career, and academic.
