Vision Statement

It is the vision of the Occupational Therapy Assistant program to prepare students for regional employment in traditional and non-traditional health care settings, wellness programs, facilitate the development of professional behaviors and recognition for the need for life long learning. In addition, the Occupational Therapy Assistant Program will actively participate as a regional resource for the continuing education of occupational therapy practitioners by periodically hosting the MOTA Annual State Conference, offering continuing education workshops, and the Chesapeake Bay Fieldwork Council Annual Meeting.
